Dr. Sunaina Sehwani is a board-certified physician, practicing since 2009, who loves the field of obstetrics & gynecology because of the fulfilling aspect of the healthy and happy outcomes. Dr. Sehwani was born and raised in the Philippines and is fluent in Filipino. After completing her medical schooling at the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines she moved to the United States in 2005 to complete her residency program. She is bilingual and speaks English and Filipino/Tagalog.
She loves the mix of surgeries and deliveries within the OB/GYN field. Dr. Sehwani enjoys getting to know her patients and their families, while leaving a lasting impact in their lives. Her love and passion for her career shines when caring for patients. She is very passionate about what she does and loves her profession.
Outside of the office, Dr. Sehwani enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling. Hiking, running and paddle boarding are some of her favorite activities. Family and her puppy are very important to her. Yearly she goes on a medical mission with IMA Helps.

This was my first time at the office. Life SaverWent in a few times after requesting to have an experienced Doctor for my Hysterectomy. She was among the top 2 and I chose her. This was my 3rd Doctor in my quest to find a fit for my surgery. I was Hopeful. She came in, was very skilled at listening, and then we proceded to talk about my concerns, which no other doctor did. Everyone else wanted to rush me in to chop me up! I left feeling a renewed and confident that she was the right person. Everytime I came in, she made sure I knew exactly what was going on and what she would be doing. Definitely very experienced, and, in my opinion, one of the best around. I am 53, so I am not a stranger to bad doctors or bad service. She is very good at her job and has a great way of making you feel at ease.

I had arrive late for my appointment due to traffic, so I understood that I couldn’t be seen, her MA brought me in to assist with scheduling me a new appt. A few mins after I left the building I receive a call 5 mins after from her MA and her medical to let me know there was a cancellation, so when I returned she was able to check me in and got me ready to meet with my gyn. I was seen expeditiously with no issues. Wonderful customer service.

I've had her in my previous pregnancy and she was great and attentive. This time she was defensive, rude, and lacked patient care. I talked to her about my worries of having a male doctor deliver my baby, I was told I didn't have a choice, I should go to another hospital to deliver the baby that doesn't have male doctors, and that my concerns weren't valid. I felt she was not sensitive or trauma informed to why someone may not be comfortable with a male OBGYN. It was very off-putting and different than my previous experience with her.

Rushed. Dismissed. I don't feel like she listened to anything I was concerned about. Everything that "recommended" was a generic reply, "eat more protein" "lose weight". I went to her because someone said she listened to her peri- and menopausal patients, but that didn't happen.
