Sasan Salmi, MD

Dr. Sasan Salmi was encouraged by his parents to choose a profession in medicine, but he ultimately chose the profession because he loves internal medicine and the geriatric field. He enjoys internal and geriatric medicine because of its many advances and opportunities to address a wide-range of acute and chronic conditions. He receives the most satisfaction helping his patients through difficult times and healing their illnesses.

Sasan Salmi, MD

Sasan Salmi, MD, grew up in Iran where he also completed his medical education at Shahid Beheshti University. In 1998, he completed his residency in Chicago, Illinois. It is important to note that Dr. Salmi can speak Farsi. Outside of medicine, he thoroughly enjoys playing tennis and watching tournaments. Additionally, he enjoys traveling, off-roading with his motorcycle and truck, and skiing as a double black skier.
