Everything from checking in , to getting my vitals checked to sitting with the doctor was great. I have visited this location about 3 times and I have had a great experience everytime. The receptionists up front don’t rush their work , are super friendly and empathetic. The nurses are kind and sweet , they really make it easy to ask questions due to their friendliness. I feel safe and comfortable having a conversation or getting my concerns addressed. I don’t feel intimidated or fearful of asking what I have in mind. The last nurse I saw at this location made me feel really good as a patient and spoke very highly of the clinic , she provided me with information in regard to the clinics affiliation with Long Beach memorial hospital which I love and didn’t know they had . Thanks to her speaking to me and answering all my questions I am now thinking of switching over to memorialcare for all my medical needs. As opposed to other clinics I have visited , the environment at memorialcare is clean, and the ambiance makes you feel calm as a patient . While waiting to be called in , I love watching how happy the employees are and how well they get along with each other . I think their positive and happy attitude transmits through the clinic. Overall as a patient I have been super happy that I have been treated with kindness , empathy, friendliness and respect . The doctors have been great and are very efficient. Dr. Appleby and his Nurse practitioner we’re great! I don’t know what kind of training memorialcare and Long memorial hospital gives their employees from their checkin staff to their doctors, all I know is that whatever they are doing is working and if they continue with this type of patient care they will continue thriving . I would be recommending the hospital and clinic to my friends and family .

Perhaps we were just not a good fit. He seemed to doubt my answers during the session and in he the charting he wrote things that were not true. We did discuss my difficulty affording all my medications, and I did not "deny" having symptoms. I answered honestly. I would prefer not meeting with this Nurse Practitioner again.
