About Me
Remi M. Ajiboye M.D. is a board-certified orthopedic spine specialist with advanced fellowship training in both minimally-invasive spine surgery and complex spinal surgery for conditions involving the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.
He completed his undergraduate studies at University of California Berkeley, followed by medical school at University of California San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine, and an orthopaedic surgery residency at UCLA Medical Center where he served as chief resident. He then completed a fellowship in minimally-invasive spine surgery and complex spinal surgery at Stanford University Medical Center, where he served as a clinical instructor. Dr. Ajiboye is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Ajiboye has a strong interest in new technology and research on minimally-invasive ways to treat spine conditions. He performs microscopic spine surgery through small incisions that utilize computer-assisted navigation technology as well as robotic spine surgery. He has written over 40 research papers and book chapters, and presented his work nationally and internationally on spine conditions.
Dr. Ajiboye’s treatment philosophy is to use the least-invasive means possible to help relieve pain and improve a patient’s quality of life.
