Priya K Shah, MD

Dr. Shah obtained the USC Presidential Scholar Award and attended USC for both her undergraduate and medical school education. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from undergraduate and with Alpha Omega Alpha medical school honors. Her Internal Medicine residency training and Endocrinology fellowship were completed at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). She volunteers her time in the education of the University of California, Irvine Endocrine fellows.

She has achieved the nationally recognized distinction of Endocrine Certification in Neck Ultrasonography. She currently holds a position on the board of directors for the Clinical Association of California Endocrinologists (CACE) and is involved in the Hot Topics in Primary Care Series which serves to educate primary care physicians on current trends in Endocrinology. She has won the Orange Coast Magazine’s esteemed Physicians of Excellence Award for the past several years.

Dr. Shah currently practices at Endocrinology Medical Group of Orange County, Inc. She is one of few interventional endocrinologists in Orange County to offer a one stop shop to her thyroid patients, performing ultrasounds, biopsies and radiofrequency ablation all in the office. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and time with her husband and kids.
