About Me

Dr. Wells received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of California at Irvine, where he was a President's Undergraduate Scholar in neurobiology. He then attended and received his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1990. Dr. Wells went on to complete a five year residency in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at St. Louis University Medical Center.

He has been Board Certified since 1996, through the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He has served as Chief of Surgery, Treasurer/Secretary of the Medical Staff, and Vice-Chief of the Medical Staff at Saddleback Medical Center, San Clemente. Dr. Wells' professional interests are general and pediatric otolaryngology, sinus and nasal disorders, facial reconstruction, head and neck oncology, and thyroid/parathyroid surgery.
