Dr. Peyman Kabolizadeh is a fellowship-trained, board-certified radiation oncologist and serves as the Medical Director, Radiation Oncology at the MemorialCare Todd Cancer Institute at Long Beach Medical Center. His philosophy is to provide excellent multidisciplinary care while working with his patients to deliver compassionate and high-quality care.

He received his medical & PhD at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and his residency in radiation oncology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in proton therapy at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Kabolizadeh is board-certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology.Dr. Kabolizadeh served as the Director, Beaumont Proton Therapy Center at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Later, he directed the proton therapy fellowship post-graduate training programs and served as associate director, radiation oncology residency program at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.

He is actively engaged in clinical research and has published peer-reviewed manuscripts. He serves as a reviewer of multiple journals and a member of the American Board of Radiology National Board Exam Developing Committee/Examiner.
