Dr. Nicole Sondel Lewis received her undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley and her medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington DC. She completed diagnostic radiology residency at the George Washington University Hospital where she served as chief resident. She then completed a fellowship in Breast Imaging at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. Most recently she served as assistant professor at Georgetown University Hospital where she acted as breast section chief and co-director of the Women’s Imaging fellowship program before moving to California in 2017.

Dr. Lewis has given educational presentations at national meetings, and has authored publications in both academic journals and textbook chapters. She sits on the breast section abstract review committee for the American Roentgen Ray Society and is a member of the Society of Breast Imaging.

Dr. Lewis lives in Ladera Ranch with her husband and two children.
