About Me

Behnam Khaleghi, MD, is a board-certified rheumatologist who blends cutting-edge technology with comprehensive patient-oriented care.

Dr. Khaleghi earned his medical degree at Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, one of the most prestigious academic institutions in Iran. He went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York. Then, he performed a rheumatology fellowship at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.

In addition to English, Dr. Khaleghi is fluent in Farsi. His special interests are adult rheumatic diseases, including arthritis, lupus, and osteoporosis. He’s invested in continuous learning and moving medicine forward.

By offering the most current and state-of-the-art therapies and services, including regenerative medicine, Dr. Khaleghi ensures his patients have access to the highest level of patient care. He also considers serving people to be a privilege and spends as much time as necessary listening to his patients.
