Michael Bastani, DPM

Michael Bastani, DPM, is a board-certified, surgically trained foot and ankle specialist. He is proud to serve patients throughout Mission Viejo, California, at Podiatry Hotline Foot & Ankle. 

Dr. Bastani earned his medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Following his medical school training, he completed three years of surgical residency at Metropolitan/ Lincoln hospital in New York City, where he was appointed as Chief Surgical Resident. 

After completing his residency training in 2018, he moved from New York City to California and began practicing in the Los Angeles area. Dr. Bastani joined the team at Podiatry Hotline Foot & Ankle in July 2020 to offer his medical expertise to the Orange County community. 

Dr. Bastani is well trained in all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery with an emphasis on trauma, sports medicine, biomechanics, minimally invasive foot and ankle surgeries, diabetic limb salvage, and wound care.

Dr. Bastani is committed to excellence in treating patients, both surgically and non-surgically, by offering evidence-based information and innovative treatments. He takes his “Hippocratic Oath” seriously and lives and practices by “I will lead my life and practice my art in uprightness and honor.”
