Ky M Tran, MD

Dr. Tran pursued his internal medicine career in the prism of service to the community, and to work with the frail and weak towards a healthier life. His commitment to servicing the community has been an ideal promoted by the actions of his parents, who volunteered for their own community, and their engagement in their chosen professions. Being an internist, Dr. Tran strives to advocate living a healthy lifestyle while his patients are young, while transitioning medical needs as they age. 

Each patient has different needs at each stage of life. Recognizing these changes and modifying their care to meet these expectations is the most challenging but fulfilling aspect of my profession.

Taking the strengths and weaknesses of each patient, Dr. Tran creates individualized plans to meet the health needs and values of his patients. From young adults to the elderly, he will coach each patient along the path to an overall healthy well-being. Outside of medicine, Dr. Tran coaches his two sons' soccer team. Being a devoted father and coach, he cherishes every moment witnessing the mental and physical growth of his sons and soccer team. In addition, he belongs to a professional organization called the United States Medical Soccer Team. This is an organization of physicians dedicated to the themes of friendship, professionalism, and community service while engaging in the sport they love - soccer.
