About Me

Jennifer Kirk, NP, studied to become a nurse practitioner at Grand Canyon University. Her main influences to pursue medicine came from her father, who was a physician, and her great grandmother, aunt, and cousin, who are nurses. Jennifer chose a career in medicine because she always found it rewarding to care for patients during vulnerable times, such as illness.

She began working as an RN in a cardiothoracic ICU after completing her BSN, RN degree at the University of Portland. After working in the cardiothoracic ICU, Jennifer decided to pursue career advancement and became a nurse practitioner, to continue her passion caring for cardiothoracic surgery patients.

I find it extraordinarily rewarding to provide support and the best care possible to my patients to ensure they have a positive experience in their healing and recovery. It is important my patients know that they come first to me. I have a lot of patience and compassion to the people I care for.

Jennifer grew up in Portland, Oregon and moved to California in 2011. Outside of medicine, her interests include spending time with her two teenage sons and being active outdoors. Jennifer has completed the Beach Cities Trifecta Half Marathon in 2021.
