About

Hye Lee, DO is a board-certified Family Practice Physician, affiliated with the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Practice.

“I chose family practice because of the opportunity to build long term relationships with my patients. I also like the ability to provide comprehensive care across all ages and for a variety of issues.”

- Dr. Lee

Dr. Lee believes that it is a privilege to be a physician, hear patients’ stories and become a part of their lives. Her focus is on ensuring patients receive the best care that they can get.

“I get to provide personalized care, giving information that patients need to make decisions impacting their health. I believe I am a great listener and bring empathy to my interactions, with the intention of building complete trust with my patients.”

- Dr. Lee

When she came to the United States from Korea at age 12, it was quite challenging to adapt to a new culture. However, she persevered through the various hurdles to excel in a profession she loves.

Dr. Lee obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at UC Riverside and earned her medical degree from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center. Afterward, she did her internship at Downey Regional Medical Center in California and has been a primary care physician since 2005.

Outside of work, Dr. Lee enjoys listening to classical music, playing piano, spending quality time with her children and oil painting.
