About Me

Fred Galluccio, MD, chose a career in family medicine because it allows him to care for patients as a whole being over the long term and participate in significant long-term changes to their life. Dr. Galluccio specifically enjoys the continuity of care that family practice offers and the relationship he is able to develop with his patients.

Dr. Galluccio has also been an emergency room doctor, which is his second area specialization, but found family medicine more fulfilling by being able to participate in his patient's growth, preventative care, and health over the course of their lives.

Dr. Galluccio was born in downtown Burbank and grew up in the San Fernando Valley. He is fluent in German and can also speak conversational Spanish. He has been practicing in Newport Beach for over 20 years and has won multiple awards, including the Physician of Excellence with Greater Newport Physicians multiple times. Dr. Galluccio has also taught and researched at numerous universities, including UCI and UCSF. Dr. Galluccio has held multiple leadership and government positions in the local and international community, universities, and his church. In his spare time, he is an active consultant and participant in international work and has launched two free community clinics.
