About Me

Dr. Elizabeth Tracy grew up in Chicago, Illinois. From an early age, Dr. Tracy had a love of science—everything from animals to math. By high school she had decided to go into medicine. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Lake Forest College (Lake Forest, Illinois). Dr. Tracy attended medical school at the Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine in Piscataway, New Jersey, after her family made the move to New Jersey. Dr. Tracy completed her residency at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York (1989-1993).

In 1993, Dr. Tracy moved to Southern California where she worked with a large private practice. She joined the Women’s Health Center in 2001.

“I enjoy working with a group of providers. We work as a team sharing our knowledge to better care for the patients.”

Dr. Tracy serves as Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the MemorialCare Orange Coast Medical Center (July, 2009 – July, 2012).

A busy mother with two teenage girls, Dr. Tracy also enjoys animals (their two dogs and bird, a Black-headed Caique), oil painting, gardening, watching her daughters grow up and spending time with her family.
