About Me

Daniel Walters M.D., FACC, FSCAI is a board-certified interventional cardiologist.  This includes coronary artery stenting, the treatment for heart attacks and narrowed or blocked arteries of the heart, as well as advanced training in valvular heart disease and peripheral vascular disease.

He completed his cardiovascular disease fellowship general training at the University of California, San Diego in 2017, interventional training in 2018, advanced PCI/structural/peripheral in 2019.  He was chief fellow for Cardiology at UCSD from 2016-2017.  Prior to this he completed his internal medicine training at the University of Michigan in 2014 and his medical degree at Michigan State University in 2011.

Dr. Walters is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. Outside of his practice, Dr. Walters enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Kristen Walters, and their two daughters. He joined South Orange County Cardiology Group in 2022.
