Bikram S Sekhon, MD

Bikram Singh Sekhon, MD, is a nephrologist at Southland Renal Medical Group, with kidney treatment centers in Long Beach, Downey, Fountain Valley and Los Alamitos, California. Dr. Sekhon specializes in treating patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), end-stage renal disease, and high blood pressure (hypertension). He also specializes in managing patients after a kidney transplant.

Dr. Sekhon received his medical degree from Manipal Academy of Higher Education in Manipal, India, in 2009. He then moved to the United States to complete his residency in internal medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City.

After his residency, Dr. Sekhon relocated to Southern California for his nephrology fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles, and shortly thereafter began working at Southland Renal Medical Group, where he remains today.

Dr. Sekhon speaks English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu. When he’s not treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports, and traveling.
