About

Angie Mikhail, NP is a nurse practitioner with 20 years of experience in women's health. “I chose this career after witnessing a nurse care for my ailing father when I was 10 years old,” she recalls. “She inspired me and encouraged me to become a nurse to help my family. I started my nursing career in pediatric oncology. My father was a pediatrician and I used to watch him care for children. I then transitioned to focusing on maternal child health, working and volunteering in various community clinics empowering and caring for underserved women and children.”

Angie is passionate about quality patient-centered care and patient advocacy.

“I believe in empowering patients through empathy, education, and preventative care. I am well versed and experienced in women’s health with a passion to helping women improve and maintain their health and quality of life throughout all of the transitions, from adolescence through menopause.”

When she is not caring for patients, Angie likes spending time with family and friends. “I enjoy the beautiful weather by cycling, bike riding on the beach, and staying active with my daughter. I am a foodie, so I enjoy discovering new places and traveling. My work and life experiences have provided me with a heightened perspective on gratitude, empathy, quality of life, and the importance of patient advocacy and education.”

Angie is a native of Southern California and was raised in the South Bay. “My family is from Egypt, and I speak Arabic,” she shares. “I have traveled to Egypt multiple times, and recently was able to take my daughter for her first visit to experience the historic pyramids, churches, and museums there.”
