About
Amy Bremner, MD, is a breast oncology surgeon at MemorialCare Medical Group in Laguna Hills and is the Medical Director for Breast Surgical Oncology at Saddleback Medical Center. Dr. Bremner completed her medical education at Georgetown University. She went on to complete her residency at Huntington Hospital for general surgery. Following her residency, she completed a fellowship at the University of Southern California for breast oncology.
Growing up, Dr. Bremner knew she wanted to pursue medicine because she was inspired by her father, who was also a physician. She decided to become a breast oncology surgeon because she always enjoyed women’s health, especially treating breast cancer.
As a physician, I enjoy working with my patients from the time of diagnosis to the completion of their treatment. Helping them through their journey and providing them cancer treatment and emotional support brings me the most joy. I want my patients to know I sincerely care about their successful treatment. I am committed to the most current, evidence-based, high-quality cancer care available. I am my patient’s most passionate advocate.
Dr. Bremner grew up in Sacramento, California and speaks Spanish. Outside of medicine, Dr. Bremner enjoys volunteering with her daughter through the National Charity League. She also enjoys working out, watching her children play sports, and traveling the world.

Excellent doctor, excellent staffDr. Bremner is more than an excellent surgeon. She is a doctor who truly cares about her patients. I recently had surgery with her and she was willing to spend her time explaining the surgery and post-surgical care to make me feel confident going into the surgery. The surgery went very well, and again, she spent time with me in the post-operative follow-up exams verifying everything went well. Her office staff is the best and played a large role in getting my surgery scheduled. Jessica spent almost an hour of her time to straighten out an issue with one of my other doctors that could have delayed my surgery. Dr. Bremner, Kristen, and her office staff take that extra step to help their patients be as comfortable as possible, and they are responsive to the patients. Five stars isn't enough for Dr. Bremner.

Dr Amy Bremner (spelling?), Kristen (i cant think of her last name but she is doctor in Dr Bremans office) and the front desk ladies were all amazing! Not related to my double mysectomy, I had two lung Enerysums and even though it was due to knee surgery, they called every day to see how I was doing. They dont treat their patients as just another patient but more as a valuef person! They took the time to explain surgery to me and how after care would be like! I live in Temevula and I would make that 2 hour drive to see them again. Thank you to Dr Berman and staff! God bless.

Dr Amy Bremner is an excellent surgeon. She did both my lumpectomy in early May 2023 and my mastectomy in late June. She explained everything in detail before both surgeries, so I knew what to expect. She is a very compassionate doctor with a great bedside manner. I feel fortunate to have been in such capable and caring hands for both of my surgeries. I highly recommend Dr Bremner.

I was actually very frustrated by the process, but very pleased with Dr. Bremner. I had to have lots of appointments in preparation for the surgery: what to expect from the PA, what to expect from the hospital, ekg, bloodwork, and insertion of something into my breast. Everything was a separate appointment. If you were patient-centric, you would streamline this process so that multiple things could be taken care of in a single appointment.
