About

Dr. Chana completed his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and residency in internal medicine at McGaw Medical Center, Northwestern University in Chicago where he received the Excellence in Teaching Award (2005). He then completed a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where he was elected chief cardiology fellow. Dr. Chana finished his second fellowship in interventional cardiology at the John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Chana is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. His work is published in various peer-reviewed cardiology publications and has participated in multiple clinical investigations. He has traveled to Bolivia, Spain, India & Haiti to provide cardiovascular care for the underserved communities.
