To continue Greater Newport Physicians’ commitment to quality and cost-effective care, we have contracted with Labcorp to provide all outpatient lab services beginning Monday, April 25, 2022.
What Should You Do If You Have a Lab Appointment?
- If you have an appointment for lab draw or testing with Quest Diagnostics before April 25, you should still go to Quest Diagnostics.
- If you are a Commercial HMO or Medicare Advantage member and you have an appointment for lab draw or testing with Quest Diagnostics after April 25, please cancel your appointment and make a new appointment with Labcorp. You can still bring your Quest Diagnostics order to Labcorp.
- After April 25, all labs must be completed at Labcorp for Commercial HMO and Medicare Advantage members. All PPO members will remain unaffected and can complete laboratory testing at either LabCorp or Quest locations.
